The modern resort of Elenite (meaning literally 'The Stags') is situated east of Sunny Beach, and 50km north of Bourgas. The nearest village is Sveti Vlas. Elenite is a popular choice for a relaxing Bulgaria beach holiday. Elenite holidays are based in a relatively small-scale, purpose-built holiday village on the sunny, southern Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, 6 miles from Sunny Beach and a short transfer from Bourgas airport. While holidays in Elenite are exceptionally cheap by British standards, the resort has a more restrained, upmarket feel than neighbouring Sunny Beach and livelier resorts like Golden Sands and Albena. Elenite Beach is an outstanding stretch of fine sand on an attractive bay backed by low hills. Clear, clean water and gently shelving, fine sand make Elenite beach an ideal choice for small children.
