The small village of Ravda is situated between the town of Nessebar and the village of Aheloy. Ravda is situated 5 km south from Nessebar and Sunny Beach. Its known as a place for beach holidays of young people and students or such on a budget. This is the place where the Bulgarian students usually go in the summer. In the last few years some very exclusive high class private hotels were built in Ravda and people from the village offer private apartments or rooms on a very low price. The beaches are wonderful and ideal for families with young children due to the gently sloping beaches and calm seas. There's plenty to do here in the evenings and nights too. Bars, restaurants, discos or you can hire a taxi to the nearby resorts of Nessebar and Sunny Beach, offering good night life and fun. Ravda also offer good water sports facilities.

The picturesque old town of Nessebar is just a few minutes away from Ravda by car. Next to Nessebar is Sunny Beach (Slanchev Bryag) - one of the most luxurious Bulgarian resorts, offering all the range of tourist facilities. Once accommodated in Ravda, one can also visit Sunny Beach, Elenite holiday resort and the beautiful Emine Cape - the latter considered to be one of the two most impressive capes along the coast, together with Kaliakra.

There are also a number of apartments available to rent in the village and the prices are reasonable as most are owned by local families. Ravda has roughly 10 taverns, 10 restaurants and 5 beer pubs, offering different types of cuisine and fish specialties. Snack bars offering snacks, beer and soft drinks are of plenty in the town and along the beach as well.

High-frequency bus lines connect Ravda to
Bourgas, Nessebar and
Sunny Beach.
Route taxis, minibuses and ordinary taxis run along the same route as well.
Private water transport to Bourgas and Nessebar can be used upon agreement with boatsmen.
Similarly to the southern seaside towns of Primorsko and Kiten, Ravda also has its own open-air 'mini-train',
travelling at a low speed to the nearby town of Nessebar and back.
