Sveti Vlas Resort in Bulgaria

Sveti Vlas (St.Vlas) coastal village in Bulgaria has about 3,000 inhabitants and is situated just 4 km to the north of Sunny Beach resort and 9 km away from the historical town of Nessebar. It lies in the skirts of the Stara Planina mountain (also called the Balkan mountain) and thus offers a beautiful combination of sea and mountain climate. The wonderful sandy beaches are of a total length of about 1km and average width of 16 metres, making Sveti Vlas a superb beach resort. Besides the village's central beach, there is also a smaller one (the so-called 'Campinga' after the campsite there), stretching from the Sun Palace complex to the Riviera complex. The eastern end of the village's adjacent coastal line is home of the new prestigious Denevi Marina, the largest yacht marina in Bulgaria.

The village of St Vlas is developing into a modern resort as a result of more travellers looking for a quieter resort to Sunny Beach, this has resulted in number of pubs and restaurants opening in the resort. Guests of Sveti Vlas can also take advantage of the various hotels which offer restaurants serving a good selection of menus to suit all tastes and budgets.

Entertainment & Nightlife

The village of Sveti Vlas has a small selection of bars and restaurant in the main Vlas Square, there are also a good selection of hotels offering entertainment during the season. You may even find a nightclub or two. Take a walk down to the Denevi Marina, and enjoy a meal and drinks at one of the restaurants overlooking the marina and out to sea. The resort has crazy golf and an ampitheatre and there are two waterparks, one at Elenite and one at nearby Sunny Beach.

Getting Around

There is regular bus transport from Nessebar and Bourgas to Sveti Vlas, and plenty of private minibuses, route and ordinary taxis. Besides, there is also water transport to and from Nessebar and Bourgas to Sunny Beach, which is just 4km away from Sveti Vlas.
